Friday Night Comedy @ Gambit is known for featuring some of the best comedic talent from around the country as well as our own homegrown talent right here in the Twin Cities' thriving comedy scene! With only 8 shows per year (Sept-April), it's not uncommon for them to sell out so get your tickets early!

Joining us for this edition are daughter-mother comedy duo Khadijah & Ci Ci Cooper! Khadijah grew up watching her mom get all the laughs on stage but now, for this special occasion, Ci Ci will be proudly introducing her daughter as HEADLINER! Also joining in on the fun will be one-of-a-kind host Johnny Pickles, whose infectious personality & zany antecdotes leave audiences laughing & quizically smiling from ear-to-ear in bewildement. More info below on each comic. Join us for a night of silliness in the Saintly City! 🎤😂
**Gambit serves up fresh, delicious food & drink options. In addition to their assortment of award-winning craft beers, they also offer up seltzer cocktails, housemade root beer (hard or N/A), THC seltzers, N/A beer, & more. They also bake their own gourmet pizzas (you gotta try the Curd is the Word - pepperoni + cheese curds!), craft hot dogs, empanadas, & a giant Bavarian pretzel. Munchies include a dessert pizza, cookies, & popcorn! 😋
ABOUT OUR COMICS:
Khadijah Cooper grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis as an only child. Working as a Sexuality Educator with teens, her confidence in public speaking coupled with her quick wit gave her all the fuel she needed to burst on to the comedy scene making her name known. Khadijah was Top 5 for Best Comedian voted by City Pages. Her point of view and stories of her life make her irresistible to laugh with and relate to.
Ci Ci Cooper's love for comedy started at a very early age while watching the "Not Ready For Primetime Players", the original cast for SNL. Ci Ci always dreamed of becoming a comedian to make people laugh the way she enjoyed laughing watching SNL and now she's living that dream! Ci Ci has performed for audiences all over the country and is a staple of Twin Cities comedy.
Whether it’s his fun name, his legendary beard, or his zany observations, johNny pickLes is truly a one-of-a-kind comic! A semifinalist in Acme Comedy Club’s Funniest Person in the Twin Cities contest, Pickles is a regular in the Twin Cities standup comedy scene, having graced the stages of Acme Comedy Club, Laugh Camp Comedy Club, Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy, the Joke Joint, Sisyphus Brewing, and Gambit Brewing. He's also a photographer known for his captivating shots of standup comedians in action.

Colin Bracewell will be in the taproom BOTH Friday 12/12 and Saturday 12/13! Come warm up and enjoy free live music.
A Minneapolis-based, Canada-bred singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, Colin Bracewell is paving his own pop-folk-rock path within the Midwest music scene. Releasing his debut EP in March of 2024, Bracewell collaborated with Minnesota-based band to result in a catchy blend of indie-rock and intimate ballads. Bracewell has also had several sold-out shows at First Ave's 7th St Entry, airplay on Minnesota's The Current, and recently had his biggest show yet at the Fine Line March 14th for his "Cozy" EP Release. Colin's 4 song EP, Cozy, delivers a taste of genre-hopping songs served with the pop hooks that he is known for. The set was co-produced with Chris Hoge and saw Bracewell exclusively songwriting on each track.

Join us for this special upcoming edition of Friday Night Comedy! at Gambit Brewing as we're bringing in national headliner Steve Gillespie, who's released three Top-10 albums, appeared on Conan, was named a finalist on CMT’s Next Big Comic, and has opened for such big names as Dave Attell, Tom Segura, and Gilbert Godfried.
Also joining in on the fun will be Twin Cities favorite Shyloh Blake, who recently finished 2nd place in the 2025 Funniest Person in St Paul contest. Shyloh is known for telling funny stories about navigating life’s awkward moments…which for her are most moments! She was highlighted in the “Next Up On Stage” series on MNComedy.com which noted, “Her quick wit and warm delivery make Blake an instant hit!" She was also a finalist in the Funniest Person contest at MOA's House of Comedy!
Host and producer Jesse The Shrink is a bona fide licensed therapist and standup comic who gives audiences a sneak peek into the inner-workings and often hilarious experiences of a mental health professional. He's co-founder of Freshly Squeezed Comedy and produces Gambit Brewing Comedyshows as well as Jesse The Shrink's Midlife Crisis Show.
