It’s time for the 2025 Funniest Person in St Paul contest!! Last year’s debut of the competition was a hit with audiences, garnering coverage from the St Paul Pioneer Press & Minnesota Star Tribune. 

This year’s version is going to be even bigger & better! Spanning 11 weeks & including approximately 100 comics, audiences will judge every performance, every week, until there is only 1 performer remaining. They will win $1,000 & be named “2025 Funniest Person in St Paul”!

How it works:

PRELIMS

*The prelims span 10 weeks, every Tuesday from June 24th-Aug 26th, & feature up to 13 contestants each week.

*Audience members score each performer from 1-10, with the highest score earning a spot in the Sept 2nd contest finale.

*Admission is FREE & includes a digital scorecard.

*Showtime is 7-8:30pm each week & includes a paid closer!

THE FINALE

*The Finale takes place on Tuesday, Sept 2nd & features all 10 winners from the prelim weeks. Audience members will agan score each finalist on a 1-10 scale & the highest score will win the contest!
