Experience the 3rd annual Funniest Person in St Paul contest, covered by the St Paul Pioneer Press, Star Tribune, and including 100+ contestants trying to make you laugh, win your approval as judges, and ultimately win $1,000!!
How it works:
PRELIMS
*The prelims are 10 weeks, every Tuesday from July 14th-Sep 15th, and feature contestants doing 5 minutes each.
*Audience members score each contestant's peformance on a 1-10 scale (1 = they should keep their day job; 10 = how are they not on Netlix??)
*The highest scoring comics from Weeks 1-9 combined advance to the Sept 22nd contest finale.
*Week 10 is Redemption Week: the lineup consists of comics who scored 10th -19th in Weeks 1-9. This is their one shot at redemption, highest score secures the 10th spot in the Sept 22nd finale!
*General Admission for prelims is FREE. There is also a $5 Reserved Seating option, which can be purchased on eventbrite and allows you to pre-select where you'd like to sit.
*Shows begin 7-7:15 and last 90-100 minutes.
