Join us for a special night of the Gambit Brewing Comedy Open Mic as we showcase some of the top up-and-coming comics from St Cloud, MN!

After a successful “Iowa Invasion” night several weeks ago we’ve decided to bring even more out-of-town comedic talent to St Paul. 

Headlining will be Erick Austin (“Funniest Person with a Day Job” finalist at Mall of America) & Matt Dooyema (producer of “Beaver Island Comedy Night” at Beaver Island Brewing & host of the “Awful Service” podcast).

Erick Austin

A St Cloud original, Erick is a true up-and-coming comic & producer on the Minnesota comedy scene. He recently finished as the runner-up in the 2024 Funniest Person With A Day Job contest at Rick Bronson's House of Comedy in Mall of America. He also produces comedy shows in the St Cloud, Big Lake, and Monticello areas as founder of EA Entertainment.

Matt Dooyema

Located in St. Cloud, Matt is a producer, promoter, podcast host, & comic who has managed to find success with each of his comedy endeavors.

He books & produces the weekly comedy showcase Beaver Island Comedy Night at Beaver Island Brewing in St Cloud, hosts the weekly comedy open mic at the Keller Bar in St Cloud, & is co-founder/co-host/co-producer of the popular Awful Service podcast. Matt has also performed in bars, breweries, & comedy clubs throughout Minnesota.

COMICS: Sign up weekly prior to noon on Tuesdays here. There are 10 spots available each week.

*Comics on the list perform between 7-8pm, pre-booked headliners perform between 8-8:30pm.
