This Tuesday it’s Ladies Night @ the Gambit mic! Featuring an all-female lineup of some of the funniest standup comedians in the Twin Cities, including headliners Khadijah Cooper (City Pages’ Top 5 Comedian in the Twin Cities) & Wendy Maybury (#1 comedy album “She’s Not From Around Here”)!

Khadijah Cooper
Khadijah grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis as an only child. Working as a Sexuality Educator with teens, her confidence in public speaking coupled with her quick wit gave her all the fuel she needed to burst onto the comedy scene, quickly making her name known. In 2019 Khadijah was named Top 5 for Best Comedian in the Twin Cities by City Pages.
Her point of view as a mother, a Sexuality Educator, and someone who has the confidence and comfort in her skin makes her irresistible to laugh with and relate to.
Wendy Maybury
Meet Wendy Maybury, a Southern belle from the heart of Dixie who has taken the comedy world by storm. Wendy is a single mother who balances raising her kiddo with a successful standup comedy career. Her relatable experiences as a single parent, combined with her quick wit & Southern charm, have made her a hit with audiences everywhere. Whether she's sharing stories about her dating experiences or simply observing the world around her, Wendy's comedy is a mix of humor and heart that leaves audiences in stitches.
