Miss Shannan was named "Best Standup Comedian" by City Pages Magazine in 2020, and if you've had the pleasure of seeing her perform live you know why! From her stage presence and personal comedy, she is known to soothe even the toughest crowds. According to City Pages, she does an amazing job of making audiences feel like they have been friends for many years with her warm and engaging performances. "There is no one more versatile, charming, and genuinely funny in Minnesota," they wrote, "and no matter where you see her, it's guaranteed to be a great show." 

She has appeared on many platforms, including "NickMom Night Out" and "Laughs TV", and was recently the host and executive producer of "Miss Shannan's Comedy Through The Chaos". In addition to being a comedian she is an acclaimed Radio and Television show host ("The Jason Show", MyTalk 107.1's "Financial Health and Wealth Show"), speaker, actress, Certified Benefit Auctioneer, and former Women's Professional Football League player! Casey Flesch

Casey is a fun, light-hearted comedian hailing from Minneapolis. He has headlined comedy clubs, breweries, and bars across the US and Canada. Casey has performed at Gilda's LaughFest, 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival, Madison Comedy Week, Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Omaha Comedy Festival, and others. He is a passionate hockey fan and was able to combine his love for comedy and hockey by writing for the Roast of NHL player Shane Doan. He also recently featured for the one and only Pauly Shore in front of a sold out crowd. Casey's comedy brings unique views into his personal life, like working retail jobs, staying in awful hotels, and managing life as a standup comedian while dealing with facial paralysis called Bell's Palsy. Audiences across North America have been delighted with his exceptional writing and skillful crowd work.

FUNNIEST PERSON IN ST. PAUL CONTEST:

Before the two headliners, it’s Week 9 of the Gambit Brewing Company’s Funniest Person in St. Paul contest. The preliminary round will take place every Tuesday from June 25th-August 27th, spanning 10 weeks. Each week one winner will be voted for (by the audience, Gambit Brewing staff, the host, & the headliners) with the contest culminating in a finale on September 3rd, featuring all 10 winners from the prelims.

The winner will be crowned Funniest Person in St Paul AND get a paid spot in a Gambit Brewing comedy show on Friday, September 6th, with headliner & St Paul Comedy Fart-Star Jeff Pfoser! 2nd place will get a paid spot in a Freshly Squeezed Comedy Show & 3rd place will get a paid “Special Guest” spot in a future Gambit Brewing Stand Up Comedy Open Mic Night!

COMICS: Sign up weekly on Tuesdays from 8am-noon @ Linktr.ee/GambitBrewingOpenMic. There are 10 spots available each week. The list posts there & here at 1pm.
