A D.C. native, John has devoted himself to making people laugh. Shortly after he relocated to Minnesota, his peers voted him 2008 Best New Comic in the Twin Cities. His sharp and well-crafted material then earned him the title of 2009 Funniest Person in the Twin Cities. In addition, his videos on RooftopComedy.com are Staff and Celeb Picks. 

John’s material is smart, aggressive and uncompromising, which makes him a comedian that you won’t soon forget.

Kjell Bjorgen

Here a few fun facts about Kjell:

*He’s originally from Minneapolis *He started his comedy career in Los Angeles in 1999 *After three years he gained some notoriety by performing in both the Chicago Comedy Festival and the Montreal Comedy Festival *He left Los Angeles in 2003 to hone his craft and perform on the road *He’s since gone on to be a part of Lewis Black’s “Nothing’s Sacred” tour, the Aspen Comedy Festival, and filmed “Live at Gotham” which aired on Comedy Central.

Luis Uz

Luis began his standup comedy journey this past year & has quickly established himself as a hard-working, up-and-coming performer on the Twin Cities standup scene! He performs at open mics & showcases regularly & recently finished 3rd place in the 2024 Funniest Person in St Paul contest at Gambit Brewing.
