Karen Pickering

Karen Pickering, a Boston transplant with a sharp tongue & warm heart, is a lunch lady & retail warrior. She's also a wife and mom who was forced to return to comedy by her two teenagers - they insisted she return to the stage or they wouldn't go to college!! 

Karen earned a 4th place finish in the Funniest Person in Minnesota Contest at Sisyphus Brewing, has performed in the Sioux Falls ComedyFestival, was featured in City Pages, co-produced the popular comedy showcase Day Drinking with Mom at House of Comedy, & now produces her own comedy show Lunch Lady Laughs. 

Michael Thorne

In a comedy career spanning over 25 years, Michael Thorne has brought his hilarious insights on life, marriage, parenthood & the evolution of humanity to A-list comedy clubs, casinos, country clubs, & backwoods bar rooms from coast to coast, border to border. (There was even a back yard bachelorette party) 

Michael's radiant energy and personable stage presence earned him an invitation to showcase for network execs in Los Angeles, who urged him to leave Minnesota to further his career ("You're the funniest thing out of the Midwest!"). But alas Michael decided to stay where he knew he belonged, musing "If Prince could stay in Minnesota, so can I!" So now it's dad-by-day & comic-by-night & he wouldn’t have it any other way.
