Lefty Crumpet
Lefty is a 25-year-old, Minneapolis-based, ethnically-ambiguous, joke-slinging, musical funnyman with social anxiety from Riverside, California. He started doing standup comedy in college & immediately fell in love with the stage. His love of playing music led him to begin incorporating comedy songs into his standup performances. He lifts your hearts and minds with absurd and hilarious jokes and tunes, about various topics ranging from relationships to Doordash.
Lefty was a finalist in the Funniest Person With a Day Job contest at Rick Bronson’s House of Comedyin Mall of America & is co-founder of Freshly Squeezed Comedy. You can find him bringing joy and confusion to crowds all over the Midwest.
Rudy Pavich
Rudy will be recording his debut comedy album days after this show! A Twin Cities favorite & unabashedly diehard Blink 182 fan, Rudy is a comedian/podcaster and video graphics producer. Since winning his 5th grade talent show with a standup set he stole from A&E's Evening at the Improv, Rudy's passion has been on stage (with his own material now, of course). He spent his early years in radio, working across the country in MN, WI, MO, & NH until he landed back in his home state at Active-Rock's 93X. Since then he's been grinding it out on the road as a headliner & opening for some of comedy's heaviest hitters Tammy Pescatelli, Jay Mohr, Kyle Dunnigan, Jeff Leeson, Sophie Buddle, Adam Ray, Jonathan Kite, & Michael Yo. Currently you can find him on numerous road dates with Adam Carolla.
FUNNIEST PERSON IN ST PAUL CONTEST FINALE!
For 10 weeks throughout the summer approximately 100 comedians have battled it out to earn a spot in THIS show, the contest finale! At its conclusion 1 will be crowned Funniest Person in St Paul AND earn a paid spot in our Sept 6th Friday Night Comedy show at Gambit!
Jesse The Shrink will host, the finalists will compete, the audience will help score the performances, & as our headliners Lefty Crumpet & Rudy Pavich perform the scores will be tallied! And then…with the audience doing a drum roll, the winner will be crowned! Come help us determine the winner & laugh a ton while you’re at it.
